Mario Batali’s Eataly

If you're in NYC and wondering where everyone is...
check Eataly- Mario Batali's new Italian Gastronomic Mecca.
It's HUGE and so so crowded right now.
Some snaps to wet your appetite.

It's hard to tell but there are little bistro Italian style tables everywhere
inviting you to stop for a moment and enjoy.

So you can find your way...

Caffe + Desserts

Most of the items are from Italy, but they do have a huge section carrying Local-Organic-NY- Eggs and Milk. If you don't want to pay $6.80 a dozen and don't mind not having the organic certification, there's always the Union Sq Green Market close by. I get my eggs there- X-Large for $4.50 a dozen. However, even at $6.80 a dozen- it's better than conventional crappy eggs. Yah for showing support for local goodness!

Parmigiano

Yah! They have chanterelles!

Lines. Lines and more lines.
You've been warned... It's like a zoo!
Italian Style.
:)
