Test Your Happiness

Are you happy? Well you should be... every deserves happiness. That is a big part or the point of life... being happy- authentically. Sometimes we just have to find it.

Please visit, authentichappiness.org. Developed by Dr. Martin Seligman, director of the University of Pennsylvania Psychology Center it focuses on the empirical study of such things as positive emotions, strengths-based character, and healthy institutions. His research has demonstrated that it is possible to be happier — to feel more satisfied, to be more engaged with life, find more meaning, have higher hopes, and probably even laugh and smile more, regardless of one’s circumstances. Positive psychology interventions can also lastingly decrease depression symptoms.

There are a series of tests you can take telling you more about you! It's free- you just have to sign up. So far, I've only taken one... VIA Survey of Character Strengths (found under the header "engagement questionnaires"), which measures 24 character strengths. Apparently if you are using your "strengths" daily, you will feel happier overall than if you are not. Time to find out what they are and make sure you use them!

Thanks to my favourite goddess for sharing.
