Check These Links

There has been quite an absence of posts I realize... I have been trying to keep up a little on FaceBook posting as I can- though I realize not all of us are on FaceBook understandably.  :)  Some are on but not on too.  Haha!  In any case if you are on FaceBook please like HHB to stay connected in any absence.  The page can be found HERE.  And for those of you not on FaceBook here are some good links not to be missed.

ALICE WATERS: EDIBLE EDUCATION
L❤VE! Beautiful short film! "When children are involved in the growing and preparing of food, they always want to eat it. I think this is the way to turn around this crisis in the nation's health. If children have the chance, they all fall in love with real food, and through the Edible Schoolyard project they learn lifelong lessons of nutrition. I am just hopeful we can bring this experience to every child." :)

Ms. Callahan, who works for the Carter Center and lived in Africa for eight years, has seen true hunger and cannot bear to watch food rot.

SUPPORT LOCAL HONEY FROM PRODUCERS YOU TRUST
"A third or more of all the honey consumed in the U.S. is likely to have been smuggled in from China and may be tainted with illegal antibiotics + heavy metals."
