The Alchemist is a MUST read for everyone. I think that when you choose to read it- it will be the perfect time. The book's main character, Santiago, a young shepherd is on a mission to find his personal legend. In order to do so, he has to overcome many obstacles. There are many poignant messages in this book (which is why I think it has been an international best seller for many years)... but the main one is to not be discouraged when things are tough or they don't go exactly as you want them to. All these obstacles are what make the journey of life so rich. Embrace them and learn. When you look back your life will be all the more memorable. I absolutely LOVED this book. Enjoy!
