In the Eye of the Whale

(Photo: Bryant Austin/MMCTA)

Bryant Austin, founder of Marine Mammal Conservations Through the Arts (MMCTA), wants to raise our collective consciousness about the wonders of our friends in the sea... the whale- who we know so little about. How? Via visual information- ie his gorgeous photographs.

Austin presents his (gorgeous gorgeous!) photographs to nations that still actively hunt whales in hope to give them a perspective that they haven't seen before. If they can connect with the whales- hopefully there will be empathy to the destructive effects of whaling. How cool! Check out the short film about his work below.

Thanks to Noah for sharing!
